Astros Update
The Astros had their game against the cubs today postponed because of snow. This is bad because it may slow down the Astros momentum that they have gotten since winning three out of their last four games against the Cardinals, and the Cubs, respectively. They have had decent pitching and some what strong offense (for the Astros) and finally have removed Brad Lidge as their closer, and replaced him with Dan Wheeler. The Astros have showed signs of have a strong high powered offense the last four games (excluding the 10 -1 loss to the cards on Sunday) including having their to best power hitters, Lance Berkman and Carlos Lee, get on the board with their first home runs. They go to Philadelphia next, to the team that most experts in sports picked to win the NL East division, but have failed miserably at the beginning of the season. With a 1- 6 record they are the second worst team in their division in front of the Nationals (1- 7). The Astros and Cardinals both started their seasons 0-3, which was then followed by the Cardinals with a 4 -1 record, and by the Astros with a 3-2 record. If you would like to comment on this post I would please ask that you not comment unless you go to a minimum of five Astros games a year, unless you have expressed written consent from ME, and you may not say anything negative about the Astros at all.
Thank you, and GO ASTROS!!
